As we look in the rearview mirror at 2024, we can see how Thermo-Kool has continued to be a leader in innovation, community engagement, and excellence within the foodservice industry. The year marked pivotal technological advancements and a renewed commitment to giving back to the community. All while laying the groundwork for an even more exciting 2025.

Here's a look at the milestones that defined this past year and a glimpse at what lies ahead.

Revolutionizing Design with the Launch of the 3D Walk-In Configurator

In 2024, we introduced our groundbreaking 3D Walk-In Configurator, setting a new standard for custom refrigeration solutions. This innovative tool empowers commercial foodservice operators to design walk-ins with unparalleled precision, ensuring refrigeration meets the unique demands of modern kitchens.

By streamlining the design process and enhancing adaptability, the Configurator has revolutionized how operators can plan their kitchen layouts and help employees, boosting efficiency and productivity.

Giving Back: The 1st Annual Kool Food Drive Competition

This year, we launched the 1st Annual Kool Food Drive Competition, a community-focused initiative that united local businesses in a spirited challenge. The competition garnered over 4,000 food items, supporting local charities and restocking shelves at community kitchens.

Inspired by our founder, Randolph 'Rocco' McLaughlin, who was deeply rooted in community values, this event started a tradition aimed at giving back to those in need. Donors were recognized for their efforts, and the collaboration extended beyond our hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. We are profoundly thankful for the support from the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM), who generously matched donations in value, with proceeds benefiting Feeding America and more than 200 food banks around the United States.

Refrigeration Innovation and Service Excellence in 2024

We maintained our reputation for delivering high-quality refrigeration solutions, continually innovating to meet the dynamic needs of the foodservice industry. From enhanced production techniques to faster lead times, our commitment to excellence ensured operators received reliable, tailored solutions. Whether through new products or refined services, we consistently prioritized the needs of our customers, proving once again why we remain a trusted name in foodservice refrigeration.
