INSTALLER

Installer

We are currently seeking individuals to deliver and perform quality installations nationwide of our walk-in coolers and freezers. Minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Meet minimum DOT regulations
  • Provide Certificate of Insurance with minimum $1
    million liability and minimum $100,000 cargo insurance
    coverage
  • Trailer minimum of 102” wide and recommended 38 –
    40 ft long
  • Tarps with 8 foot drop on all sides
  • Participate in Thermo-Kool’s Factory Certified
    Installation Training
  • Be able to withstand physical elements/requirements,
    such as lifting, repetitive bending, etc.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and problem-
    solving abilities

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

SKILLS:

    Follow oral and written instructions

    Ability to multi-task

    Read cutting bills (blueprints)

    Read a tape measure

    Use of power tools such as nail gun and glue gun

    Basic math skills

    Carpentry is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Stand and walk for long periods of time

    Push, pull, and lift panels, doors, carts

    Some positions will require heavy lifting

EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS USED:

    Basic hand tools

    Nail gun

    Glue gun

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT USED:

OSHA required and approved safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety glasses.

  • Customer Account Representative

Description

The Customer Account Representative is responsible for the entire sales cycle including following up on leads, quoting, processing orders for drawings, revisions, and order approval. 

The Customer Account Representative is responsible for providing support to the representatives, dealers, and consultants in their territory.

The Customer Account Representative works in coordination with drafting, scheduling, and reports directly to the Sales Supervisor.

Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Minimum two-year degree or equivalent work experience in related field.  

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Read a ruler, read prints, and mathematics.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience in engineering, sales, or drafting. 

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must possess excellent typing skills, be attentive to detail and well-organized, customer service, have the ability to multi-task, and at times work well under pressure.  

  • Production Design Technician

Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Production Design Technician is responsible for generating drawings for factory production.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Associates Degree CAD Engineering. 
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in a CAD program and operating print machines.
  • EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience a plus. 
  • SKILLS/ABILITIES: Mathematics, detail-oriented, and time-management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Work closely with the Engineering Technicians and Drafters to prepare drawings in a timely manner.
  • Examine each drawing closely to ensure no errors have been made.
  • Process parts orders to ensure order is shipped expediently.
  • Assist installers with jobsite issues
  • Keep up to date with the latest refrigeration technology
  • Inform company personnel of manufacturing errors.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

POSITION REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Support Manager

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: NONE

  • Sales Drafter

Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Drafter is responsible for providing our reps, consultants, and dealers with accurate drawings for their product needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Associates Degree in Drafting and Design. 
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in a CAD program and operating print machines.
  • EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience in drafting a plus. 
  • SKILLS/ABILITIES: Mathematics, detail-oriented, and time-management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Work closely with the Sales Supervisor and CARs to prepare quote and order drawings or any other drawings in a timely manner.
  • Examine each drawing closely to ensure no errors have been made.
  • Keep jobs posted and up-to-date on the schedule board.
  • Communicate with the Purchasing Department effectively for special orders.

WAGE PROGRESSION CRITERIA

In order to have successfully completed the 90-day introductory period and be a Level III employee, the Drafter must have the ability to: 

  1. Operate print machine.
  2. Convert fractions to decimals.
  3. Operate scientific calculator.
  • Welder

Description

Welder of all door components for walk-in cooler manufacturer.  This positions must  make sure that all welds are structurally sound and have no debris or slag on the mental, as well as being buffed and polished so that the weld is aesthetically pleasing.  Lifting of door frames will also be necessary, 50 pounds with assistance.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32"
  • Mig, Tig, Stick, and Brazing skills required.
  • Welding of aluminum as well as other metals required.
  • Welding Certificate preferred
