The long-awaited return of NAFEM is almost here, and people will soon be flocking to the heart and soul of Florida to experience it. Ourselves included!
NAFEM has always been a longstanding tradition among the foodservice industry. The organization started in 1948, just after the second World War and at a time when Americans began to demand variety and convenience from restaurants. Shortly after, innovation began to play a role in the industry, giving birth to technology such as infrared ovens and slicing machines. This allowed the organization to grow in both membership and finances. This trend kept going through the years until NAFEM became the organization powerhouse it is today.
After a four-year gap, we are excited to not only see our friends and colleagues all across the industry, but to show everyone what Thermo-Kool has been working on during the long wait. And while we don’t want to spoil the surprises, well… some things are just too good not to share.
So here is a special sneak peek at what Thermo-Kool will be bringing to the show floor:
Order Tracker: Has this ever happened to you? You order something really cool (like a walk-in), and then you’re left wondering where your product is the process. Is it being made? Is it almost finished? When is it shipping? You don’t know, and that’s a frustration we’ve set our sights on rectifying. With this first of its kind tracker within the industry, we give you a step-by-step look at where your walk-in is, from quoting to manufacturing to shipping and everything in between. Order status is now just a click away. All you need is your job number and a trip to our website (www.thermokool.com) to start seeing your walk-in’s progress in real time.
Digital Controller: In a world of smart phones, tablets, and laptops, what product isn’t made better by the ease and simplicity of a touch screen? Coming early 2023, the latest product to step into the 21st century is our blast chillers! Boasting a screen of 10.1” (the largest in the industry), performance is just a touch away. These new, modern screens are equipped with a one button start function, multi-product use for HACCP recording, a detailed design with simple readouts, and frankly, just easy to use. This innovated upgrade to an already amazing product is sure to take your establishment to the next level.
3-D Configurator: Ever wished you could visualize those larger purchases before you buy them? Sure, a drawing is nice, but wouldn’t it be better to see the finished product before you even contact the company? Soon, you’ll be able to. Thermo-Kool is currently in the process of finalizing our first 3-D Configurator for our walk-in coolers/freezers and blast chillers. Those visiting our website will be able to custom build their own walk-ins/blast chillers and watch their personally made product come to life before their eyes. It’s a great way to get a feel for what the finished product will look like and how it might look in your establishment. With this new innovation, we’ve strived to put our customers in the driver’s seat so that our products become even more customizable. No space is too unique for us, and now you can prove it to yourself!
