The annual KOOL Food Drive stands as testament to this belief—where employees and partners move with quiet purpose, collecting and delivering thousands of meals to tables that might otherwise remain empty.
A Taste of Togetherness
Every year, the Thermo-Kool team rolls up its sleeves and brings the heat at the annual Chili Cook-Off—a local event that combines delicious food, friendly competition, and community spirit. From secret family recipes to bold new creations, our employees take pride in preparing their best batches of chili to serve to attendees, judges, and fellow competitors. It’s a chance for us to share our love for food, showcase a little creativity, and represent the Thermo-Kool name with some serious flavor.
But for us, the Chili Cook-Off is about more than just winning trophies—it’s about giving back. The event supports Laurel Main Street, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the charm of our historic downtown. We’re proud to take part in an event that not only brings people together but also helps maintain the heartbeat of our community.
Bringing Flavor to the Future
Each year, our Thermo-Kool team grabs the gumbo pots and heads to St. John’s Day School for a day of food, fellowship, and fun. Our Red Beans and Rice lunch has become a beloved tradition—one where students, faculty, and Thermo-Kool employees come together over a classic Southern favorite. From stirring the pot to serving smiling faces, we’re proud to be part of something that feeds both bellies and hearts.
This event is more than just a meal—it’s a reflection of our commitment to supporting education and giving back to the community that supports us.
